Woman reading an old book with glowing text while a small fairy with wings whispers to her

Litha: The Magick of Speaking Your Desire Aloud

There’s something about Litha that makes the world feel a little more alive than usual. The sun hangs at its highest point. The air hums with possibility. The veil between the everyday and the enchanted thins just enough that you can feel the difference if you’re paying attention.

And if you’re anything like me, you don’t come to Litha looking for identity. You come looking for expression. For the part of you that’s been waiting for the right moment to step forward again.

As you read this blog, I want you to think of a feeling that you want to experience during Litha.

Now that you know what you want to feel, let me take you into the woods for a moment. Not metaphorical woods. Not symbolic woods. The real ones. The ones that smell like warm earth and sunlight caught in the leaves.

Imagine stepping beneath the canopy and seeing the light dance across the branches. Dew shimmering like diamonds, rubies, sapphires, and emeralds. The kind of shimmer that makes you pause because it feels like the world is doing something just a little impossible.

And then let something settle inside you. Calm. Connection. That quiet sense of belonging that feels like wind chimes ringing a tune only you can hear.

Hear them say “Come forward. You belong here. You are safe here.”

Now listen and hear the whisper of the wind. Soft enough to be mistaken for leaves shifting, but you know better. As it brushes past your ear you can feel the hairs on your skin raise. You know instinctively that this is an invitation. Nothing more, nothing less.

This is the moment where Litha becomes Magick. Because the whisper isn’t asking who you are. It’s asking what you want.

Now, a gentle dare. Speak your desired feeling aloud. Just once. Softly. Honestly. Not loudly. Not dramatically. Just honestly. A truth carried on your breath. Let the universe answer.

It will answer by wrapping itself around you like a silk shawl. A presence that isn’t touching your skin but is absolutely touching you. Warm. Gentle. A little wild. The kind of Magick that doesn’t transform you into someone new, but re‑forms you into who you’ve always been.

Experiencing this feeling will let a part of you return. The sovereign part. The part that remembers how to stand in your own truth without apology.

And now walk back out of the woods, moving more lightly. And maybe, just maybe, there’s a spark of mischief in your step. The soft kind. The kind that feels like a smile you haven’t quite let slip yet.

Litha does that.

And remember… let the universe hear you.

It’s already listening.
