A Small Delay, A Big Reminder

My friends, I want to acknowledge that I missed yesterday’s usual Monday post. A family emergency pulled me away, and while I won’t go into the details, I didn’t want to let the silence pass without a word. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

What’s interesting is that this came right on the heels of one of the most beautiful rituals I’ve ever participated in — a Saturday night filled with family, connection, and magic that left my heart glowing. It’s wild how life can offer you one of your most joyful moments and one of your most frightening in the very same week.

And that, honestly, is part of the path.

Being a witch doesn’t mean life is smooth sailing. It doesn’t grant immunity from fear, chaos, or the unexpected. What it does give us is a way to meet those moments with clarity, courage, and connection. It reminds us that even when we face the worst in people, there is still so much good — so much love — woven through the world. It shows us that even when people demonstrate the worst qualities of humankind, others step up with support and encouragement, being the best of people. It shows you what matters.

Witches aren’t untouched by struggle. We just know how to reach for the energies that hold us, guide us, and steady us. We know how to breathe through the storm, how to call on our allies seen and unseen, and how to remember that we are never truly alone.

Even in the dark, the universe leans toward us.

Thank you for walking this path with me — in the bright moments and the shadowed ones. I’ll be back on schedule next Monday, and I’m grateful to have you in the circle.
